🔄 Transitioning Your Puppy to a Single Brand

Because your puppy has been exposed to all three foods, stomach upset is very unlikely, and transitions are simple.

Standard Transition (optional):

Day 1–2 → 75% old food / 25% new

Day 3–4 → 50% old / 50% new

Day 5–6 → 25% old / 75% new

Day 7 → 100% new food


Fast Transition (also fine for these pups):

Mix 1–2 meals of the new food with what they’re used to.
If stools remain normal, continue fully.

If you stay within these three brands, most puppies need no transition at all.

🐶 Feeding Guidelines

All my dogs and puppies are on free feed. Meaning the bowl is never empty.
This is the  Healthiest way for dogs and people to eat or snacking throughout the day versus 2 and 3  big meals.but I know this is a not realistic when potty training.  However once trained feel free to go back to free feed.

Feed 3 meals per day until around 12 weeks, then gradually shift to 2 meals.

Always provide fresh water.

Keep treat portions modest (under 10% of daily calories).

Expect normal puppy appetite swings during growth spurts and teething.
